DESIGN WITH IDENTITY
Throughout his career, Jorge Luis Salinas has participated in numerous fashion events both nationally and internationally. His work has been celebrated for its commitment to sustainability, collaboration with artisans, responsible use of materials native to Peru such as alpaca fiber and Pima cotton, and the promotion of handcrafted work. He has received international recognition with awards such as the Gen Art Award in New York, the Inter Jeans Award in Germany, the Miami Fashion Week Award, and the Macy’s Award, which allowed him to complete an internship at Macy’s in Washington and New York in 2015. He has presented collections on major runways such as New York Fashion Week (The Shows) 2016 and Milan Fashion Week in three editions: FW/2025, SS/25, and most recently as part of the official Milan Fashion Week FW25/26 schedule, highlighting designs inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Peru, including the Huaylarsh dance, the Amazon rainforest, and the Lord of Sipán.
